Sydney Indian wedding live stream on YouTube

In the past weekend I and my team had a two days Indian wedding live stream assignment. It was very challenging as we broadcasted over 4 hours each night, few things we needed to be aware of, internet speed, battery level of each equipment, how to work along with other wedding videographers and photographers.

At the first night everything went really well and smooth. However the second we faced an issue of slow internet speed, fortunately we were warned by another live stream professional in that morning, before arriving the venue I went to purchase a lan cable with 50 metre of length so I could be able to put our modem outside the reception hall (see photos). Day 2 of live stream was successfully broadcast to YouTube with this lan cable.

I stop here and would just like to share the comments received from the bride and groom two days after their big day.

Hey Sunny!

I just wanted to thank you so much for the incredible live stream you did for the past 2 days - everyone from overseas is raving about how it looked like a movie! The quality and audio was stunning and I cant thank you enough for making those who couldnt make it feel like they were there in person 😊 I'll definitely be recommending you to all my family friends for their upcoming weddings!

Love,

Haleem & Mithila

Wedding live stream at The Crypt St Mary's Cathedral Sydney

We were thrilled to perform the first wedding live stream after the final lockdown here in Sydney.

The wedding was taken place at The Crypt St Mary’s Cathedral, one of most beautiful venues I’ve ever been to. Likewise, I scouted the location two weeks before to check the strength of 4G reception, and work out the ideal position of our cameras and live stream gears.

One of the challenges was that the 4G reception in The Crypt was not sufficient enough for YouTube live stream. Therefore we had two options to resolve the issue,

  1. setting up the production desk right outside The Crypt so to get the best 4G signal, however this could create another issue of the wireless video signal from the cameras could not transmitted through the thick and big stones

  2. put the 4G modem outside, and run a long cable to the production desk inside.

After discussion with the venue manager, we went for option 2.

On the day we arrived two hours before the ceremony commenced to set up. Two professionals worked on the day, one managed the cameras and the other monitored the entired live stream. However one thing we found that was the echo effect of The Crypt which made us difficult to get the audio clean and clear, to resolve the issue, we attached our wireless microphones to the lectern, the groom, and the Father who hosted the ceremony. It worked perfectly.

We were pleased that things went smoothly and the broadcast went live 20 minutes prior to the bride walking down the aisle. More than 60 people joined the live to witness this beautiful wedding.

wedding-videographer-sydney-ssf-blog-Nov2021.jpg

We did it!!!! After months of lockdown few times since early 2020, finally we got our freedom back, I have no words to describe how I feel now.

Without a doubt, the lockdown has a big impact to the wedding industry for almost two years, but it has come to the end now. We are very pleased to inform that we look forward to work with all clients that booked us in late 2021 and 2022. Our team is fully vaccinated and will do whatever we can to protect ourselves and who we will meet.

Since all covid restrictions of wedding are lifted, we are glad that we have been receiving enquiries of our live stream services and wedding videography packages in the last couple of weeks. Owing to some confirmed weddings of 2021 were postponed to 2022, we regret to inform that the number of weekends available in 2022 are limited. To avoid disappointment, please do not hesitate to give us a shout about the date you need us, we will get back to you as quick as we can.

Looking forward to be a part of your special day.

Wedding live stream in 2022

I hope everyone has been safe and healthy during New South Wales lockdown.

As New South Wales will soon achieve 70% vaccination rate, I believe wedding restrictions will be eased by the end of 2021 and we can have more freedom and back into our business. My guess is that the number of guests in weddings would be limited initially and might take months to lift all restrictions; on the other hand, the border would also take months to open to interstates and foreign countries, should your guests may not attend due to Covid restrictions, wedding live stream would be a good investment to get your family and friends to virtually participate your special day.

We are ready to work with you and be a part of your wedding. All our team members will be fully vaccinated by October this year. We still have spots for wedding videography and live stream in 2022, please do not hesitate to contact us for booking.

I look forward to working with you.

Stay safe!!

Wedding Videography in Hunter Valley

During the past years, I filmed numbers of weddings in Hunter Valley.

Travelling to Hunter Valley from Sydney is about two and a half hours. For long hours weddings, I would stay there a night before so I did not need to rush and avoid busy traffic in the morning. For late weddings, I would stay in the area overnight and return to Sydney the next day.

Why I love doing weddings in Hunter? Beautiful, it’s absolutely beautiful!! As a videographer (I believe photographers agree with me too), it’s such a stunning location to get stunning footage and photos. There are farms, vineyards, botanic gardens, charm venues etc. Because of these, every time I go to Hunter, I always have my drone ready, I reckon nothing is better than a drone to get some beautiful landscape footage.

Here are some wedding videos filmed at Hunter Valley, enjoy.
