Crown Sydney Wedding Photography and Videography

Throwing back this beautiful video of S&R taken place Crown Sydney back in 2022.

The day started with bride and groom preparations in the hotel rooms respectively, and then heading to a church for the wedding ceremony, followed by photo shoot around the city such as the iconic Queen Victoria Building (QVB).

The reception was the highlight of the day. The guests were enjoying the canapé, the performances of magicians and dancers before the couple’s formal entrance. More performances were happened after the entrance, for instance, pole dancing, live band, drummers for traditional dance.

It was a sweet and beautiful wedding. I was so pleased I could be part of it.

Zoom Wedding Live Stream (April 2023)

I did a Zoom wedding live back in April 2023.

I did a Zoom wedding live back in early April 2023. The wedding ceremony started at 1:30pm, I arrived at the wedding venue at about 12pm and commenced setting up. Set up was done smoothly and everything was ready to go at about 1pm. The 4G reception was really poor, luckily I met the couple a week before the event at the venue, whilest I could run an internet speed test on the spot to realise this issue. My great appreciation to the church which let me use their wifi internet on the day.

Apart from the live stream, I was requested if I could take some images during the ring ceremony and certificate signing, of course I can. I took some images during those formalities as well as few group photos outside the church. I was so pleased I could use my photography skills.

There was about 70 people joined the Zoom meeting who were from different places overseas and interstates, I set up the couple as a co-host so that they could manage the meeting when they had a chat with their family and friends after the wedding ceremony.

Please shout out if you wish to have your live stream on Zoom or YouTube, I am more than happy to help out.

Wedding Live Stream at Panorama House

It’s been a busy January and February. Wedding live stream has become very popular since Covid19 restrictions eased few months ago.

I was thrilled to share this live stream with you. The wedding was taken place the Panorama House just about an hour drive from Sydney. I arrived the venue two hours prior to the kick-off time to set up and test the quality of internet connection. Luckily I got a really good speed for upstreaming to YouTube. It was a 3 cameras setup so I could do multi-angle broadcasting with one of the cameras attached on a gimbal. I must say a big thank you to the venue as they allowed me to use their marquee as a shelter. On the day it was raining a little bit but the sun came out right before the ceremony started.

After the successful live stream, I then packed up my live stream gear and got ready to film the reception without live streaming. Unlike the wedding ceremony, the wedding reception was having a hint of Fijian rituals as the bride was a Fijian. It was my third time to shoot Fijian wedding, it was full of fun and quite full on. Also there was a Zoom call to Columbia where the groom’s family live in.

I am more than happy to customise package to suit your need, please feel free to let me know when you fill out the contact form.

Wedding photography and videography packages

One for All and All for One

I am in the industry for nearly 12 years. One of the biggest challenges that I ALWAYS hear from my wedding clients is the hassle of finding the right photographer AND videographer at the same time. It’s hard to get both right and more often it’s usually one way or the other. Why? It’s a misconception for both people to think videographer and photographer are the same. I can write a book look to explain how different we are but I’ll save this for later. In essence, videography is mainly about motion/animation whilst photography is more about still images. Sounds similar but they really are not the same. More importantly, each person has their own shooting style so it’s not easy to maintain consistency between your wedding photos and videos if art direction is not your strong suit.

I understand the pain and frustration and therefore at Sunny Siu Films, we manage everything for you. We offer a range of wedding photography and video packages* to suit your needs.

Pros:

  • You only have 1 point of contact. We have access to some of the best wedding photographers in town and will ensure the quality of the end product is superb.

  • We only work with experienced wedding photographers, whom we have worked together before for a smooth operation. What better than people know what they are doing? We do what we do best and we strive to give you the best result in both videos and photos.

  • Depends on the size of your wedding but our crew usually has 2 photographers and 2 videographers for your big day. In this way, you’ll be guaranteed all the best moments and your best angles will be captured ❤️
