The day began with bridal hair and makeup, followed by civil ceremony serviced by Jeannie Wan, photo shoot, tea ceremony for both families, and formal reception.
Congratulations to S+J.
I am thrilled to share with you this beautiful sneak peek of Alice and Kevin's wedding taken place at Horizons South Maroubra. Wedding photo shoot was taken place at Mistral Point at South Coogee. It was a beautiful day and we captured some stunning drone video during the photo shoot session.
Stay tuned for the official wedding highlights.
I am thrilled to share a video teaser of a lovely couple - Sarah and Billy. The wedding followed Lebanese traditions with drummers to perform before the groom left to the bride's house. Photo shoot was taken place at University of Sydney.
Vero mentioned when we met the first time that Dunbar House Watsons Bay was her dream wedding venue and having wedding reception there truly made her dreams come true. I was so previlege having the trust from Vero and Karel having me to be part of their special day to capture not just the remarkable reception party but also the emotions of the guests and family with the bride and groom. Fun, laughs, tears, hugs, I believe all these things has made V + K an unforgettable night.
Congratulations to the newly-wedded!! And thank you so much for having me.
Congratulations to Bonnie and Matthew. I was so delighted to capture their wedding at one of my favorite wedding venues Curzon Hall. I hope you enjoy this video as much as I do.
I love doing Same Day Edit (SDE), not just because it's challenging but also I can see real time reaction while the bride and groom and their guests watching it. Yana and Greg's wedding ceremony was held at Nurragingy Reserve followed by wedding reception at Altura Blacktown. Nurragingy Reserve is a stunning venue for weddings and I was very lucky to be there twice for filming weddings in October. One of the great things we had done for this SDE was using drone to capture some sweet moments and landscape.
I was delighted to produce this Samd Day Edit wedding video for Y+G who was very impressed with the outcome. Enjoy!!
You may find other Same Day Edit videos here.
My hearty congratulations to the second anniversary of Lydia and Tim who had moved to Canada after the wedding two years ago. I was lucky enough to film their wedding at Panorama House.
I still remember when I first met Lydia and her bridesmaids in Darling Harbour, I went through the details of the wedding packages available and she confirmed booking right on the spot. I really thanked for her trust to having me as her wedding videographer and pleased to learn that they watched the video as part of their anniversary celebration.
It was my great pleasure to capture this Indian prewedding engagement party in Sydney back in June. I hope you'll like it as I do.
I am thrilled to share M+S's wedding that was filmed a couple of years ago. The church ceremony was taken place at St Stephens Anglican Church followed by reception at Bendooley Estate Southern Highlands.
I think that Southern Highlands is one of the best wedding locations in New South Wales Australia. I love this location, it's just about one and a half hour from Sydney, stunning landscape, and lovely and helpful locals that welcome bride and groom to take photos and videos.
I hope you'll enjoy this video as much as I do.
This was the last wedding filmed in the very last day of 2016 at one of my favorite wedding venues - Sergeants Mess. The day started from a traditional Vienamese tea ceremony at the bride's house, followed by a civil ceremony and reception. The wedding was full of love and laughs. S + S is such a lovely couple and I wish them a happy married life.
I love traveling to weddings. Hannah and Ronan's wedding was taken place at one of my favorite wedding locations in New South Wales - Hunter Valley. I would not use more words here to tell you how beautiful their wedding was as I believe the video does speak for itself. I wish you enjoy this video as I do.

Hope you'll enjoy Rochelle and Monique's wedding highlight, one of the Lesbian Weddings that I produced. The wedding ceremony and reception were both taken place at Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley.
Chris and Amelia's wedding ceremony was held at one of most beautiful wedding venues at Sydney - Observatory Hill, followed by wedding reception at The Star Room at Darling Harbour.
My biggest congratulations to Yixin and David. It was my great pleasure to film their beautiful wedding. Wedding ceremony was held at St Thomas' Anglican Church North Sydney, followed by the wedding reception held at Sergeants Mess Mosman.
Amazing stills were crafted by Jackie Chan.

I have been a wedding videographer since 2011, during the last 5 years, I produced more than a hundred of wedding videos in documentary style. Why not cinematic?? Why not making wedding videos like Hollywood movies?? I have seen quite a few couples being directed to pose for photos and videos during their special days but most of them were not enjoying, simply because they had been stressed, tired on the days and having plenty of things to manage in weddings, how would a person enjoys posing in front of cameras on one of the tensest day in his/her life. However I admit that some couples would love to act and being directed.
Shooting weddings or events in candid style is not as straight forward as you think. Firstly, documentary wedding videographers have to keep an eye on what is happening around the couples, families and guests, catching special moments or reactions while the subjects not noticing you are pointing cameras at them. If the moments could not be captured, they were gone, no second take. (by the way, I do not ask brides and grooms to act or do something again because of I failed to capture it.) Secondly, these days wedding cinematographers have some sort of standard scenes in their mind and will apply the same scenes to different couples. This approach ensure cinematographers get what they want and smooth the workflow in editing, however, this has caused the same act/scene appeared in wedding videos of different couples. I found it's a bit weird as every couple has unique personality. I personally treat each wedding as a unique project and I want to show the real characteristics of brides and grooms in their wedding videos, I strongly believe this naturalistic approach would make the videos long lasting and memorable.
Back to basic, just let the day unfolds by itself are the most suitable approach to create a memorable wedding video, IMHO.
I live in Sydney since 1995 but today is my very first time to visit Chinese Garden of Friendship. Many thanks to Betty and Andrew invited me to their ceremony rehearsal where I could have a look the venue as part of my shooting preparation. I can't wait to film their wedding here this Saturday.
